According to the Alzheimer\u2019s Association\u2019s 2012 edition of\u00a0Alzheimer\u2019s Disease Facts and Figures<\/em><\/a>, currently \u201c5.4 million Americans are living with Alzheimer\u2019s disease.\u201d The annual report also states that an \u201cestimated 800,000 individuals with Alzheimer\u2019s (one in eight), live alone\u2026and up to half of them do not have an identifiable caregiver.\u201d<\/p>\n
